Configuring the Default Template for Custom GDAP requests

The Microsoft Management Settings extension allows you to configure different templates to be used for different marketplaces. However, if a template for a particular marketplace has not been configured, a default template will be used. In this section, we will learn how to customize the default template for Custom GDAP requests.

Note: This functionality is not available for syndicated providers.

  1. Go to the Integrations module in the CloudBlue Connect Distributor portal and select Extensions in the left menu.

  2. Click on the Microsoft Management Settings extension.

Note: If the Microsoft Extension Settings extension is not installed yet, refer to the Installing the Microsoft Management Settings section.

  3. Once the extension is installed, click on it and then click Open Settings > GDAP.

Note: If the extension is already installed, you can also find it in your account settings (SettingsMicrosoft Management Settings).

  4. Click the Custom GDAP Email Templates tab.

  5. To configure the Custom GDAP default template, click the corresponding template ID to open the template and then configure it following the examples provided. Then, select the Enable Template checkbox. Otherwise GDAP requests will not be processed.

    Important:
    - Remember to select the Enable Template checkbox. Otherwise the template will not be used in the GDAP requests.
    - If a custom GDAP template rule is not created for a particular marketplace, the default template will be used.

  6. Link the email template to an Email Notification Rule.
